Description
Dry Season Fires By Joan Stratton - A painted view of the dry season run away fire. On the Cape they light cold burn fires to clear the under brush and reduce future fire risk during the season. The hawks, kite and other birds of prey fly before and around the fire to catch their ususally hiding prey, that now runs from the fire in Weipa, Queensland, Australia.
Starting with my paintings of "The Dry", acrylics and spray paints on canvas, then digitally modifying the piece.
