Description

A monochromatic portrayal captures a female figure adorned with steampunk-style goggles on her forehead and an assortment of gears and hibiscus flowers and leaves entwined in her hair. Her gaze is directed upwards, into the shafts of light streaming down from the hole ridden ceiling above. Tattoos of hibiscus flowers and leaves blanket her upper body and neck, she is a warrior without fear. Her hair and accessories merge with a complex background of mechanical cogs and wheels, suggesting a blurring of the organic and the mechanical.

Ether Art – A hand-drawn drawing / painting using the exciting modern art form, where art is created from scratch using a computer in lieu of a real canvas and paint, water colour, pastel, pencil, charcoal etc I create digital art from the ether, exactly the same as if I was starting with a blank canvas.
