New Zealand Pohutukawa trees (Metrosideros excelsa) aka New Zealand Christmas Tree are a coast evergreen of the myrtle family. They have a wonderful display of red flowers that stand out against the blue sea!
Starting with one of my pastel and charcoal on canvas, then digitally modifying the piece.
