Peacock Fan by Joan Stratton - A digital illustration of a male peacock with its tail feathers open and on display which is based on one of my original paintings. I love their rich blues and golds and their haunting call on a still night. When I was young, friends of my parents had peacocks and whenever the birds dropped their tail feathers we would be given some. I used to make ear-rings out of them or place them in flower arrangements. They are so pretty to look at.
