Description
Mask Past Present Future by Joan Stratton - my interruption that in every moment you are; your past, your present and your future. To make your future brighter think positively and concentrate on what makes you truly happy, by doing so you will attract all kinds of positive, happy experiences. You just need to be open to them when they come :)
We hide behind masks we make for ourselves; to protect ourselves, to protect others, to scare others, to keep people at a distance, to bring them closer - whatever the reason.
This digital art work is part of a collection of Masks (all have Mask in the title). For this piece I have used a digitally modified photo of my daughter's face and applied backgrounds of my other hand-drawn digital artworks to help create the final effect

An intriguing image and commentary. Masks, for the most part, are not good, and the freedom to become the humans we are meant to be involves tearing them off and allowing our full faces, our humanity, to shine forth.
Joan Stratton replied:
I couldn't agree more, Steve. My wish is for everyone to have the courage and strength required to do so.
