Colourful Colorful Scales Of The Komodo Dragon by Joan Stratton - A colourful portrait of the world's largest lizard, with multi-coloured scales and an aqua toned head. The Komodo dragon is of the monitor lizard family and can be found on five very small Indonesian Islands. They can grow up to 3 metres (10ft) in length and weigh up to 70 kg (150 lb). I saw this lovely specimen at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
