Shoes by Joan - Dragon Fly Wing Pumps by Joan Stratton - Pointy toed pumps (high heels) done in a modern abstract pattern with wings at the side and skull designer heels with flashy blue sole.

I like many women, have always enjoy beautiful shoes. I think my love of pointy toed shoes started quite young, when my mother pulled out a couple of pairs of her mother’s shoes from the late 1940s, early 1950s. There was a white leather pair and a dark blue leather pair, both with very long pointy toes. I kept them and when I was older had them resoled and wore them until they fell apart!

This series of designs are my celebration of those shoes that I loved to destruction :)
