Three Turritella Seashells Steampunked by Joan Stratton - An illustration of three surreal mechanical patterned turritella, unicorn horn, seashell coiled tightly from top to tip like an elongated cone, with a smoke filled veil across a steampunk metallic themed background in gold, silver and black and just a hint of blue.

This long elegantly shaped sea snail mollusc was inspired by the many seashells of their type that can be found on the beaches in Weipa, Cape York, Queensland, Australia.
