Springtime Evening An Echidna In Bloom by Joan Stratton - As the full moon rises in the background, a lonesome male echidna, adorned with a mass of pink and blue pinwheel flowers from the Australian native flowering eucalyptus gum tree, Corymbia Ficifolia, is out and about looking for love. The bright light from the reflection of the full moon on the lake shines up like a spotlight on the little fellow, creating colourful silhouettes across the sky.
