Sorrow by Joan Stratton - Using every last ounce of will power, she forced herself out of bed, dressed in her Sunday best, picked his favourite frangipani flowers and all the while remembering him, his face, his smile, his smell, their laughter and their tears. Now she stands in the church beside him, her eyes downcast, her hand resting gently but lovingly on the surface of his coffin. Her sense of loss is overwhelming, numbing...Oh how she aches for him.
