Raptor with Young in Frangipani by Joan Stratton - On a background of giant frangipani flowers, the Velociraptor mother and her young with their open mouths, displaying very sharp teeth, their knife like clawed hands, and their very distinctive feet with one oversized hook like claw and their long tail providing balance as they race after their prey. My grandson so loves dinosaurs he wanted me to draw some for him so I had fun drawing them and he loves the result.

I have used various methods, including adding to my zebra patterned collection by making dinosaurs zebra patterned. Some of the backgrounds are from my other paintings and digital artwork.
