Minnamoolka Storms Coming by Joan Stratton - A stunning display of a deep, dark and stormy sky mid-afternoon looking through the bush land of Australian eucalyptus gum trees to the paddocks beyond where curtain of pouring rain can seen marching its way forward across the hills onto the plains at Minnamoolka Cattle Station in Far North Queensland, Australia.

I was out on the quad bike, making my way back to the homestead with the lightning striking all around and the thunder roaring overhead. On that day, the lightning started a fire on the flats but luckily it was later put out before it was to reach the areas of peat.
