Mermaid Waters by Joan Stratton - As she looks down through the deep blue depths of the ocean, her hair is caught up in the tidal flow of the waves on the surface which is not far above her. The mermaid just floats there with only a slight movement of her powerful tail.

Starting with one of my charcoal sketches, then digital blending a mixture of digital manipulation and drawing. Part of a series of PaintDigi-Blending.
