Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Mask I Cast My Spell You are Mine by Joan Stratton - I invite you into a surreal world, where spells are cast and love lasts forever. I am yours, you are mine, now and forever!
We hide behind masks we make for ourselves; to protect ourselves, to protect others, to scare others, to keep people at a distance, to bring them closer - whatever the reason.
This digital art work is part of a collection of Masks (all have Mask in the title). For this piece I have used a digitally modified photo of my daughterβs face on a black patterned background. I have also used an older method (like from primary school :) of inking the front and scraping/erasing a design/pattern into the work.

Welcome to Paintings By Joan - Art & Design By Joan P Stratton. I live in the tropical far north, Cape York, Queensland, Australia. My beautiful home and country is the inspiration for my art. I began my working career in Melbourne, as a trainee in graphic art, technical drawings and drafting for a mining and engineering company. With the diversity of work available to me, I gained vast experience with all manner of mediums prior to the advent of computers. In the mid '80s, as a side-line to my permanent employment, I designed and prepared artwork for record covers (Albums, Eps), promotional ads and flyers for rock bands that marketed their music independently. I see myself as a mixed media artist, I love every medium and they all...
