On a still evening the sun sets on the open water beyond Gongbung Beach, Weipa, Queensland, Australia where on the horizon the wet season storm clouds build with a promise of rain.
Silhouetted mangrove trees with intricate root systems are depicted against a large, glowing sun, creating a dramatic sunset scene. The reflections in the calm water mirror the trees and the vibrant sky.
Ether Art – A hand-drawn drawing / painting using the exciting modern art form, where art is created from scratch using a computer in lieu of a real canvas and paint, water colour, pastel, pencil, charcoal etc I create digital art from the ether, exactly the same as if I was starting with a blank canvas.

I began my working career in Melbourne, as a trainee in graphic art, technical drawings and drafting for a mining and engineering company.
