Celtic Shield Knot 6 by Joan Stratton - The background fades from white to black with the red, yellow and black coloured intricate never-ending knots that form the Celtic Shield Knot Symbol aka the Celtic Knot, used in Irish / Scottish designs, where there is no beginning and no end. This Celtic symbol is also used for protection from danger and warding off evil spirits.

This digital art work is part of a collection of Celtic Symbols.

Hand-drawn digital artwork on several different backgrounds some are my other hand-drawn digital artworks and some are newly created hand-drawn digital backgrounds. I have also used an older method (like from primary school :) of inking the front and scraping/erasing a design/pattern to the work.
