Captured the spirit by Joan Stratton - What is left behind when all substance is taken away but presently is at our core, our essence, our aura, it fills us up, makes us human, who were are and who we will always be as our spiritual self carried through time. Light is dark and dark is light created from a negative of another art piece.
Part of a collection of simplicity in black and white. Is it white on black or black on white? This series includes existing works where I have removed all colour therefore I am left with the result of the absence of colour.
Life cannot be a series of black &/or white choices, we all need a little colour.
