Black And White Fairy-tale Butterfly Woman by Joan Stratton - A dramatic black and white illustration. The swallowtail butterfly wings of this tattooed supernatural hybrid elf and butterfly, are strong and fast. Her skin a contrasting hue glows in the magical fairy land light. She stands proud as she watches over those in her charge, ensuring the balance is in their favour. Like all fairy folk she is rarely seen by non winged creatures or animals, but has on a very rare occasion been sighted by a stumbling unsuspecting human where she has responded quickly by removing their memory and spinning them around until they are lost, and unable to determine direction. She'd asked the forest plant life to create a maze with twists and turns that they push the human through until it is spit out of the forest and unable to remember where they were or how to get back should they ever remember any details in the future.
