Australian Native Hibiscus Three Flowers - Hibiscus tiliaceus Rubra Red Cottonwood by Joan Stratton - Three red throated, yellow hibiscus flowers fallen from their bush on the bauxite pebbled beach at Hornibrook, Lorim Point, Weipa.
An Australian native red cottonwood tree with large rich maroon-green foliage and bright yellow (occasionally coral) flowers. They tolerate high wind, salt soil and poor drainage which is why they do so well on the shoreline at Hornibrook!.
